Abstract
In this research, the effect of ascorbic acid in concentrations (400 mg/L) and putrescine in concentrations (0.5 and 1 mM), ascorbic acid 400 mg/L + putrescine 0.5 mM and ascorbic acid 400 mg/L + putrescine 1 mM and control treatment were investigated. The first stage of foliar spraying was done during the seed enlargement stage on May 15th (60 days after full bloom), and the second stage of foliar spraying was done with a time interval of 15 days compared to the previous stage, when the seeds began to fill on June 1st (75 days). After full bloom) was done. The experiment was carried out in 2021-2022, on the pistachio trees of Ahmed Aghaei variety in a commercial orchard, located 70 kilometers from the center of Kerman province, in the outskirts of Zarand city. Then, characteristics such as leaf area, chlorophyll index, percentage of empty, dehiscent, percentage of misshape fruits, fruit weight, bunch weight and yield were studied. The results showed that the highest amount of leaf area, chlorophyll, fruit weight, and yield was observed in pistachio trees that were treated with 400 mg/L ascorbic + 1 mM putrescine in 60 days after full bloom stage. According to the results obtained from the present research, the use of ascorbic acid and putrescine alone improved the quality and yield of Ahmad Aghaei pistachio, but their combined treatment was more effective and compared to control and other treatments.
