Abstract

In order to investigate the role of arbuscular mycorrhizal symbiosos (Glomus mosseae) on water relations and some osmolytes accumulation in three pistachio rootstocks under different salt stress levels, a greenhouse expriment was achieved based on completely rhandomized design (CRD) az factoriel with three factors of mycorrhizae at two levels (with and without mycorrhizae). Saltness of irrigation water at four levels (0.5, 5, 10 and 15 dSm-1) and rootstocks at three levels (Sarakhs, Abareqi and Bane-baqi) Resalts showed than water relations parameters ( Leaf osmotic potential and relative water content)and osmoregulators concentration wew changed as the effect of salinite. Mycorrhizal sambiosis improved water relations of treated plants in comparison with non-mycorrhizal plants especially at higher salt intensities, used pistachio rootstocks in this experiment showed different responses to salt stress levels which can be attributed to their genetic traits and mycorrhizal symbiosis extent. Bane-baqi had higher leaf relative water content and osmotic potential (less ngative) and showed more resistant to salt stress in camparison with two other rootstocks.
