One of the ways to increase the production and income of gardeners is to branch out with high yield numbers and rejuvenate old gardens. In this research project, the required data and information were collected through face-to-face interviews with 20 pistachio gardeners in Rafsanjan and Anar cities. Descriptive statistics methods, variance analysis, partial budgeting, as well as NPV, BCR, and IRR discount evaluation methods and spss22 software were used for analysis. The research results showed that rejuvenating and changing cultivars from other cultivars to two commercial cultivars, Ahmad Aghaei and Akbari, has a high economic justification. The net present value of the project is positive at a rate of 40%. The benefit-cost ratio is greater than 1 at a rate of 40%. The internal yield rate for Ahmad Aghaei variety is 48.1% and for Akbari variety is 45.83%. All these indicators show the significant economic justification of rejuvenating and changing varieties of old pistachio orchards. According to the results of the research, pistachio gardeners who use modern irrigation systems in their gardens and have more favorable soil and water quantity and quality conditions, They have done more rejuvenation operations.In connection with rejuvenation problems,the lack of access to the graft and the uncertainty of a healthy graft are the first priority, the high cost of the rejuvenation operation is the second priority, and the sensitivity of the grafted trees and their drying after the rejuvenation operation are the third priority.
